Was in San Antonio today...and came back without 2 bikes!

Traveled down to beautiful San Antonio with my buddy Eric today to do some sightseeing and took the commuter bikes with us. Well, that didn't go so well as they were gone after being locked up for 45minutes on Riverwalk / S Presta St in downtown SA.

What's gone: a purple/blue Women's Specialized Dolce w/ Ultegra 9-Speed parts, flat bars, and Shimano Wheels. Also MIA is my maroon "Free Spirit" fixed gear with Truvativ cranks, 32 spoke Mavic wheels and Brooks saddle.

In the rare instance that anyone gets to see them on Craigslist, in town or anywhere else please let me know. It's not so much about the $$$ but more about the time/care I spent building them up. Thanks!

last time I locked them...

New Year, New Team, New Look

I know, it has been a while since my last entry. Work with ROTHE Training has kept me very busy - especially this time of the year. But now I finally found some time to re-do this blog and update a few things here and there.

So 2009 is already in full swing and I'm excited about the upcoming season and what it will bring for my new team and myself. Looks like I get to do some bigger races I haven't done before in the past so I'm looking forward to a mix of speed & "enduro" events.

The entire team is build around one cause: helping the children at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas by raising awareness and money throughout the entire year. I should have a fundraiser page up here in a few weeks and keep you readers up-to-date about the team's involvement on that matter.

Thanks to the generous support of SCOTT and OAKLEY we'll be riding the coolest bikes and get to wear the lastest shades. Old Santa will be dropping off some more goodies here over the next few weeks and I might do a review on some of the latest '09 products I'll be racing on this year.

Stay tuned for updates.

Out,
Stefan
